Pimpri News: Fire at scrap yard of used tyres in Kasarwadi
Kasarwadi: A fire broke out at Ganesh tyres, a scrap yard of used tyres near Neo Max hospital, Kundan Nagar in Kasarwadi at 2 am on January 31st.

The fire reached Koteshwar Timbers and it took 3 hours for the fire brigade to get control over the fire. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident and the patients in the hospital near the ablaze were evacuated. Short circuit is believed to have caused this accident.A total of 14 fire vehicles were involved in the operation to douse the fire.
Speaking about the operation, Firefighter Rushikant Chipade said, “Maitree Apartments, a residential society, extended help. They fought the fire with their own fire pumps and equipment. As the fire was very close to Neo hospital, firefighters first took the efforts to evacuate the patients safely.”
