PMC issues disaster management helpline numbers
With heavy rains lashing the catchment area as well as in the city since yesterday, July 22, water levels in the river is rising too. Water levels have gone up at many places and PMC informed people living in the low lying areas to remain alert.
Pune Municipal Corporation has informed that they should remain alert and stay safe. Also the Mayor Murlidhar Mohol has issued numbers of the disaster management cell where citizens can call up incase of emergency.
Citizens can call up to report about tree felling incidents, water logging and water entering into the homes in low lying areas.
