PMC issues new guidelines; shops to remain open till 4 pm

Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar has issued fresh guidelines putting restrictions on several activities to curb spread of Covid19.  

In Pune Municipal Corporation jurisdiction, all shops under the essential category shall be allowed to remain open till 4 pm on all days. 
Non essential shops shall remain open only between Monday to Friday till 4 pm and remain closed completely on Saturday and Sunday. 

Malls, cinema halls, theatres shall remain closed till further notice 
Restaurants, bars, and food courts to remain open from Monday to Friday till 4 pm and with 50 percent seating capacity only. On Saturday and Sunday only home deliveries and parcel services shall be allowed till 11pm.
Local train services shall  be available for health workers, emergency services staff and women, government staff, airport services, port services etc. 

All private offices (offices under exemption category) to work with 50 percent capacity on all working days till 4 pm only.  

All government offices, emergency services required for Covid19 management to remain open with 100 percent capacity. 

All outdoor sports activities to remain open from 5 am to 9 am on all days. 

All religious, social and entertainment programmes to be allowed with 50 percent capacity only from monday to friday till 4 pm.

Programme should not be conducted for more than three hours. Sale of food items to remain prohibited. Covid Appropriate Behaviour must be followed. 

All religious places shall remain closed in PMC jurisdiction. 

Wedding related programmes should not have more than 50 people in attendance. All Covid related appropriate behaviour must be followed.

Those violating the norms, shall face stern action. 

Not more than 20 people should attend Funerals. 

All construction related work can be carried until 4 pm. 

E-commerce services can be conducted In PMC limits, and not more than 5 people should remain together. After 5 pm curfew shall be imposed. Restrictions on movement shall be enforced. 

Gyms, saloon, beauty parlours, spa, wellness centers can operate with 50 percent capacity and till 4 pm only and by appointments only. Air conditioning should not be used in such premises. 

Travelling by private car / railway to long distance places to other districts and halting at level 5 categorised places, it is mandatory to have E pass. 

All schools, colleges, educational institutes to remain closed till July 15, 2021. All coaching classes, tuitions to remain closed. Online classes can be conducted 

Liquor shops to remain open till 4 pm from Monday to Friday and facility of home delivery can be provided on Saturday and Sunday by such shops. 

These rules are also applicable for Khadki cantonment Board and Pune cantonment Board. These rules shall remain in force from June 28, 2021 till further notice.
