Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has organized a walk for all citizens on December 11 to celebrate the day as ‘Pedestrian Day’. The walk will be from Nagarkar Taleem Chowk to Garud Ganapati Chowk at 10 am.

As per further information from the X handle of PMC, “On December 11, a part of Laxmi Road will be decorated for pedestrians to make Pune residents enjoy walking and experience a vehicle-free road. Various programs will be organized by PMC on the occasion of Pedestrian Day.”

This event, which will happen on December 11, 2023, intends to provide a revitalizing pedestrian experience away from the bustling traffic. There will be decorations along the route between Nagarkar Taleem Chowk and Garud Ganpati Chowk, encouraging people to stroll, explore, and take in the distinctive atmosphere.
