PMPML earns over Rs 2 Crore revenue on November 20

The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has earned more than Rs 2 Crores revenue in just a single day i.e. 20th November (Monday).

As per further information from PMPML, PMPML bus service is provided to all passengers within the jurisdiction of Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad etc. As the Diwali holiday is over, several passengers, who travelled to other places like hometown etc, have started to come back.

As the route is heavily crowded with passengers on their way back to Pune, as the passengers should not be inconvenienced, the Chairman & Managing Director of PMPML gave instructions to all officers about providing safe, high-quality, prompt bus service etc.

Considering the traffic congestion & pollution factor, the use of eco-friendly smart AC electric buses and CNG buses in the fleet of PMPML has been increased.

On November 20, 2023, 1698 buses were plying in the city and extra buses were running on the higher revenue routes. Hence, the PMPML has earned Rs 2,06,31,945 revenue on Monday.

This has once again highlighted that PMPML’s bus service, known as the lifeline of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad cities, is economical, safe and reliable.

Labourers, workers, employees, senior citizens, women passengers have always shown their trust in PMPML bus services. At the same time, the number of students travelling daily has also increased significantly as schools and colleges in the city have reopened at full capacity.

The increase in daily ridership and daily revenue is a testament to the confidence shown by passengers in PMPML’s bus services. PMPML is appealing to passengers to make maximum use of PMPML bus services like PMPML’s eco-friendly smart AC electric buses, CNG buses & more.
