Pune News : Miscreants puncture tyres of several vehicles on Katraj Kondhwa road leading to traffic jam ; case registered

Pune: A massive traffic jam was observed on Katraj-Kondhwa Road for more than 1 hour on Monday.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vinayak Gaikwad, Police Inspector, Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station said, “At 7 pm on Monday (November 20), 7 to 8 unknown people punctured the tires of several vehicles on Katraj-Kondhwa Road. Their intention is unknown. They punctured the tyres & ran away from the spot. This incident happened 1 km ahead of Katraj Chowk. The traffic police took more than 1 hour to clear the traffic.”
As per information shared by Vinayak Gaikwad, no one was injured or harmed in any way during the incident. The unknown perpetrators have been booked under Sections 341, 283, 143, etc of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Their whereabouts are being traced by the police.
A long queue of vehicles formed on the road due to the incident for more than an hour.
