PMRDA awaits state government’s nod for Mahalunge-Maan Town Planning Scheme
Pune : PMRDA to have DP hearing only after consent from high court
The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has submitted the Mahalunge-Maan Town Planning Scheme (TP Scheme) to the state government for final approval.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Ramdas Jagtap, Deputy Collector, aPMRDA said, “The Mahalunge-Maan Town Planning Scheme Plan has been submitted to the state government for final approval. It will take around 2 months for the state government to approve. The implementation will start immediately after getting the approval.”
As per information from PMRDA’s official website, the following is brief information about the Mahalunge-Maan Town Planning Scheme (TP Scheme):
Brief of the Project
· The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has planned to develop the first Town Planning (TP) scheme at Mahalunge and Maan, Taluka Mulshi.
· The declaration of intention to prepare the scheme is done under provisions of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (MRTP) Under section 60(1) dated 05/08/2017.
· Mahalunge – Maan preliminary TPS has been approved by the State Govt under section 86(1) and it has been published in the official gazette.
· Due to variation in the Blue/Red flood line, subsequent variation of the scheme is under progress.
· Mahalunge-Maan has been added to PMC Limit and PMRDA has been appointed as a special planning authority for the area.
Status :
· Preliminary TPS is sanctioned by the Government dated 02/12/2019.
· Final TPS had been drawn by the arbitrator dated 14/02/2020.
· Variation of TPS is under progress and the arbitrator has conducted a hearing of all landowners, subsequent preliminary schemes will be prepared.
Scope of Work :
· Total area of final plots allotted to land owners: 120.14 hectares
· Total area of final plots allotted to PMRDA: 74.184 hectares
· Total area of final plots allotted to PMRDA for open spaces, garden, and lake development: 23.35 hectares
· Total area of final plots allotted for public amenities ppllllland utilities: 14.79 hectares
· Total area of final plots allotted to PMRDA for sale: 14.73 hectares
· Total area of final plots allotted to PMRDA for EWS: 21.314 hectares
