Pune : ABVP holds protest against imposition of additional fees for backlog papers by IMDR college

Pune: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has organized a protest against the imposition of additional fees for backlog papers on September 13.
As per the information provided, there was a heated argument between the students and the college administration. The college’s main gate was closed, and students arriving for the protest were also locked inside.
The ABVP demanded IMDR college that only one paper should be conducted per day for the backlog exam, and secondly, the backlog fee of Rs 1,000 should be reduced or waived, and both demands were met.
Shrushti Jagtap, Kothrud District Convenor, added, ”We staged this protest as Rs 1000 were charged. Few students have a backlog of 14 to 15 papers, which makes it difficult to pay. We inquired there, but no response was given. Later, we held a protest, and our demands were met. ABVP will always take a stand for students if something wrong happens.”
The protest saw the presence of Aroh Kulkarni, Srishty Jagtap, Anushree Vispute and students of the college.
