Pune Accident Video: 2 Cousins Killed, 1 Injured as Car Crashes Into Metro Pillar Near Bund Garden
Pune, November 2, 2025: A horrific accident in Pune claimed the lives of two cousins and left another critically injured after their speeding car lost control and rammed into a Pune Metro pillar near Bund Garden early Sunday morning.

The tragic incident occurred around 5 a.m. when a black car, seen in CCTV footage, spun out of control before crashing into the pillar near Bund Garden Metro Station. The impact was so severe that visuals from the scene showed the mangled remains of the car, with one victim’s body seen hanging out of the shattered rear windshield.
The deceased have been identified as Yash Bhandari and Hritik Bhandari, both aged 23. The third passenger, Kushwant Tekwani, sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital. Local residents immediately rushed to assist and helped transport the victims to the hospital.
According to police, preliminary investigation suggests that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Liquor bottles were found inside the vehicle. “Prima facie, the driver lost control of the car, leading to the fatal accident,” a police official stated.
Authorities are further investigating the case to confirm the cause of the mishap and verify whether overspeeding or drunk driving was involved.
