Pune: Aditya Bhandarkar’s team wins Pro-Am event of The Poona Club Open 2024
Pune, November 11, 2024: The Pro-Am event of The Poona Club Open 2024, played at the Poona Club Golf Course, was won by Pune-based professional Aditya Bhandarkar and his team.
Aditya’s team had a net score of 53.4 and consisted of amateurs Dr. Rajeshwari Agarwal, Nikhil Bhargav and Nitesh Shinde.
Professional Mohd Azhar helped his team finish second with a net score of 54.4. Azhar’s team consisted of amateurs Sanjay Panwar, Aditya Pusalkar and Rajiv Bajaj.
Professional Shaurya Binu and his team consisting of amateurs Ranjit Date, Deepa Singal and Xitij Joshi finished third with a net score of 54.7.
The closest to the pin contest on hole no. 4 was won by Anant Pandit whose shot landed three feet and 6.5 inches from the hole.
The prize for the straightest drive on hole no. 14 was won by Gaurav Gadhoke as his drive landed half an inch from the centre of the fairway.
The prize for the longest drive on hole no. 18 was won by Leon Zacharias as he landed his drive at a distance of 266.7 yards.
