Pune : Astonia Classic In Undri Unveils Rooftop Solar Power Plant, Paving Way for Significant Savings

Pune: Astonia Classic, a residential society in Undri, inaugurated a rooftop solar power plant in the A1 and A2 complexes on September 27.
As per information shared by Dilip Shah, President of the Undri Residents Association, the solar capacity of one solar power plant is 19 KV, making it a total of 38 KV for two complexes. It has a capacity of generating 30,000 solar power units per year per project. The total savings on electricity bills would be Rs 4 lakh per year. He further informed that the solar power will be used for common lights, lifts & other electrical equipment in society. The total investment for a 19 KV solar power plant is Rs 11 Lakhs. These solar power plants will guarantee a 30% to 35% return on investment per year. During the inauguration function, 125 to 150 society members were present.
The chief guest of this Solar Power Plant inauguration function was Nivrutti Bandal, a member of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Other special invitees of the function were Damodar Dabhade, former Additional Commissioner, Govt of India), DN Yadav, former Asst Commissioner, Shrikant Muthyala, Warree Solar Panel, Sanjay Botre (Solar Project Contractor).
From Astonia Classic A1 Co-Op-Hsg Society Ltd the society committee members present at the Solar Power Plant inauguration function were, Dilip Shah (Chairman), Rahul Patil (Secretary), Gaurav Avasthi (Treasurer).
Similarly from Astonia Classic A2 Co-Op-Hsg Society Ltd the society committee members present at the Solar Power Plant inauguration function were Swapnil Tayshete (Chairman), Pankaj Kumar (Secretary), Treasurer, Astonia Classic A2 – Subhash Mutneja.
