Balewadi residents will have their own tabloid called ‘The Balewadi Tribune’ which was inaugurated on January 28, 2024.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Ameya Jagtap of Balewadi Welfare Federation said, “The Balewadi Tribune will be published 2 times a year in which information about the works done from the Balewadi Welfare Federation, information on useful & helpful points for citizens such as deemed conveyance, procedure of launching a First Information Report (FIR), useful contacts and much more will be provided. The tabloid has been circulated in every household of every society in Balewadi. Going forward, the issues faced by Balewadi citizens will also be covered. So, it’s a tabloid for the people of Balewadi.”

As per information, famous radio jockey (RJ) Sangram Khopde was the chief guest during the inauguration event of the tabloid. This activity has been started with the aim of making the citizens aware of the various activities of the Balewadi Welfare Federation and involving them in the work of the Federation.

While appreciating the work of the Federation, Sangram Khopde said that citizens should assert their demands and pursue them till they are fulfilled. Pune should become a better city to live in and citizens should take initiative for that.

Ameya Jagtap introduced and thanked many people who had given advertisements for “The Balewadi Tribune”.

Adv. Mashalkar, Adv. Parashuram Tare, Moreshwar Balavadkar, Ashish Kotamkar, Yash Chaudhary, Adv. Indrajit Kulkarni, DD Singh, Shubhangi Chapate, Asmita Karandikar, Dr Nikhare, Vaibhav Adhav ani Shakeel Salati etc worked hard to make this initiative a success. The program was attended by dignitaries and journalists from all sectors of Balewadi.
