Pune: Caretaker Absconds with Ornaments Worth 3 Lakhs in Ganesh Nagar area in Karve Nagar 

Pune – A caretaker employed for a senior citizen by a Ganesh Nagar resident has allegedly stolen ornaments worth 3 lakhs and 22,000 Rs in cash from the home of a 61-year-old man. The incident was reported on May 30, 2024, at Alankar Police Station.

The caretaker, a woman whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was hired on May 6 to look after the complainant’s elderly father. However, she vanished with the valuables on May 25. The stolen items are valued at a total of 3,69,000 Rupees.

The theft has left the family distressed, and the police have launched an investigation to locate and apprehend the suspect. The authorities are working to gather more information and track down the caretaker, who remains at large.
