Pune city police arrests individual for alleged murder of BBA student 

Police officials from the Lonikand police station told that accused Sagar Gaikwad (21) was about to leave for Chennai via train. After getting information about the accused, immediately police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused.

Sagar was allegedly in a relationship with Mahesh Doke, 21 years old student of BBA course. They both were roaming in the city together but somehow Mahesh slowly started avoiding Sagar and hence angry Sagar attacked Mahesh by using a sharp machete on Bakori road in Wagholi area on Tuesday.

Locals immediately rushed the victim to the nearby hospital where he died later.

However, police told, Mahesh shared details of the attacker with the locals and hence it was easy for the police to arrest the accused.
