Pune covered in a blanket of fog : Social media abuzz with videos

Pune: Since a few days, Pune citizens have been witnessing foggy & cloudy weather conditions during morning hours. Many Punekars have taken it to ‘X’ to showcase the morning fogs.

An X user tweeted on the morning of November 29, ‘Low visibility due to fog in Pune.’

Another X user tweeted on the morning of November 29, ‘Pune engulfs in a thick fog.’

Another X user tweeted on the morning of November 29, ‘Foggy 8 am morning today. The hill station feels like it is back in Pune.’

Another X user tweeted on the morning of November 29, ‘Foggy morning here in Fursungi Pune. Very poor visibility.’

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Pune has predicted that cloudy conditions and rain are expected to last until December 1, 2023.

According to additional details from the IMD Pune weather report, rainfall is possible in some areas of Konkan-Goa and Vidarbha till December 1.

In Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada, there is expected to be rainfall on November 30 along with cloudy conditions, thunder, and lightning in certain areas, and rainfall in certain areas on November 1. Weather from December 2 to December 4 is predicted to be dry.

On November 30, cloudy weather is expected in Pune during the afternoon and evening. In certain places, light rainfall is expected. The weather from December 1 to December 4 is expected to be partly cloudy in the afternoon and evening.
