Pune : Cycling Expedition To Pawna Lake Held To Commemorate 75 years of NDA

Commemorating ‘75 Glorious Years of National Defence Academy’ , a team of cyclists comprising cadets and serving officers of National Defence Academy undertook a cycling expedition to Pawna Lake covering a distance of 150 kms in a day. 

The expedition has been conducted as a sequel to previously conducted cycling expedition to Mulshi Lake on 5th February, 2023.

The adventurous journey covering the picturesque route has been a testament to passion and skill of all participants. Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, AVSM, NM, Commandant, National Defence Academy appreciated the participants and encouraged one and all to continue adding momentous milestones towards ever shining future of the Academy in line with the motto “Seva Paramo Dharma”.

The main objective of the expedition was to bolster the spirit of adventure and espirit-de-corps in young cadets, thereby instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance towards moulding them into promising future leaders.
