Pune District Authorities Reinstates License Of 14 clubs Establishments
20 July, 2024: In response to the financial challenges encountered by the hospitality industry, the Pune District Collector has decided to restore the licenses of 14 clubs that were previously suspended. This action is a result of the ongoing evaluation led by District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase, reflecting a broader review process aimed at addressing the current situation faced by these establishments.
Here’s the breakdown of the clubs whose licenses were reinstated in different police jurisdictions:
Under Pune City Police Jurisdiction:
- – Two clubs in Kharadi
- – One club in Balewadi
- – One club in Kothrud
- – One club in Sahakar Nagar (Satara Road)
Under Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Jurisdiction:
- – One club in Pimple Saudagar
- – One club in Chakan
Under Pune Rural Police Jurisdiction:
- – Two clubs in Indapur
- – Three clubs in Khed Taluka
- – Two clubs in Junnar
The District Collector will carefully inspect these clubs for any rule violations. They will review complaints filed by Pune police and authorities from PMC, PCMC, and PMRDA before fully lifting their suspensions.
