Pune : Exemplary Individuals and Organizations Set to Receive Honors on MP Shrirang Barne’s Birthday

On the occasion of Shiv Sena’s Member of Parliament for Maval Lok Sabha constituency, Shrirang Barne’s birthday, outstanding individuals and institutions are poised to be felicitated. Notable figures such as senior writer Dr. Sadanand More and film actor Ashok Samarth will be among those honored.

The event, organized by the MP Shrirang Barne Social Foundation, is scheduled to take place at the Prof Ramakrishna More Auditorium in Chinchwad at 5 pm on Thursday, coinciding with Barne’s birthday. The celebrations, spanning four days, have included various programs.

The distinguished personalities and organizations to be awarded include Dr. Pankaj Maharaj Gawde with the Warkari Bhushan Award, Jalandhar Maharaj Kalokhe with the Samaj Bhushan Award, and Bhausaheb Bhoir. Additionally, Dr. Avinash Vachasundar will receive the Arogya Bhushan Award, Rakesh Sonigara the Udyog Ratna Award, and Vaishali Deshman the Yoga Bhushan Award.

Ajit Jagtap will be honored with the Environment Bhushan Award, while Dhananjay Varnekar, Aarti Bhegde, and Nita Mohite will receive Shikshan Ratna and Shikshan Bhushan Awards respectively. Noteworthy organizations such as the Shivdurg Mitra Lonavala Trekking and Adventure Club and the Adarsh Kamgar Union SKF Kamgar Union will also be recognized.
