Pune : Fire breaks out at Koregaon Park restaurant; No casualties reported
On 23rd January (Tuesday), a massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Lane no 7 of Koregaon Park. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Pramod Sonawane, Fire Officer, PMC, said “At around 8:30 am, we got the information about the fire. Immediately, along with fire officers, 3 fire vehicles & 1 tanker went to the spot. It was seen that a lot of bamboo & glass had been accumulated in the restaurant premises. The fire had spread on the bamboo & glass. The impact of the fire was huge.”
Sonawane further said that, within 15 to 20 minutes, the fire was doused by the fire officers.
No casualties of injuries have been reported. The restaurant has suffered damages in the accident.
