Pune, August 27, 2025: An employee of an investment banking firm sustained a fractured nose, while his friend suffered a dislocated shoulder after an altercation with four men over wrong-side driving in Khadki. The incident took place around 5:45 PM on Monday.

According to the complaint filed by the victim, Satyam Sukhsagar Bhargav, he was returning to his Kharadi home from Nashik when he encountered two men riding a two-wheeler on the wrong side near a gurdwara on Elphinstone Road. Bhargav advised them to drive on the correct side, after which they left.

Shortly after, the same men returned, struck his vehicle, and physically assaulted him. They also called two more individuals to join them in the attack. Bhargav attempted to contact the police helpline (112) and called his friend Mahesh for help. When Mahesh intervened, he too was attacked, resulting in a shoulder dislocation.

A case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including charges of voluntarily causing grievous hurt, wrongful restraint, intentional insult, and common intention. The complainant also provided the registration numbers of the two motorcycles used by the attackers.

By Tuesday evening, Khadki police confirmed that all four accused had been identified and arrested.
