The admission process for First Year of Junior College (FYJC) is currently underway. As of Wednesday, over 43,000 students have registered on the FYJC admission portal. Out of these, 21,000 students have successfully verified Part I of their application forms.

Part II of the application form will be available for students after June 5. This was confirmed by Sampat Suryavanshi, the director of secondary education. He explained that new colleges and schools are still in the process of registration. “The registration of these new colleges and schools is going on. We have given them time till May 31. Then processing will take some time. We can open Part II section only after all the colleges are registered as students need to see their options before filling in their preferences,” Suryavanshi said.

Students were able to start filling out Part I of the form from May 24. It is crucial that students ensure this form is locked and verified before moving on to Part II.

The FYJC admission process will include three regular rounds, one special round, and one round for students with ATKT (Allowed To Keep Terms). Any remaining seats after these rounds will be filled based on a daily merit list system.

Students should stay updated on the registration process and be prepared to fill out Part II of the form once it becomes available after June 5. Ensuring that Part I is completed and verified is an essential step in securing their admission.
