Passengers planning long-distance travel this summer can expect some relief as Central Railway has rolled out a series of special train services between Pune and Ghazipur City to handle the seasonal rush. A total of 44 trips have been scheduled under this arrangement, with trains running twice a week in each direction.

As part of an important operational update, railway officials have clarified that the return journey—Train No. 01432—will now conclude at Hadapsar instead of Pune station. Travelers are advised to factor in this change while booking tickets or planning onward journeys.

The outbound service, Train No. 01431 Pune–Ghazipur City Special, will leave Pune at 6:40 am every Tuesday and Friday, starting May 1 and continuing until July 14, 2026. Over this period, the train will complete 22 trips, reaching Ghazipur City at 7:05 pm on the following day.

For the return route, Train No. 01432 Ghazipur City–Hadapsar Special will depart at 4:20 am every Thursday and Sunday from May 3 to July 16, 2026. This service will also operate 22 times, arriving at Hadapsar at 4:20 pm the next day.

Along its journey, the train will stop at several important stations, including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Aunrihar, ensuring connectivity across multiple regions.

The rake composition will include 18 ICF coaches, featuring a mix of travel classes: one AC 2-tier, five AC 3-tier, six sleeper coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two guard-cum-luggage vans. This setup aims to cater to both reserved and unreserved passengers.

According to Pune Railway Division spokesperson Hemant Kumar Behera, reservations for Train No. 01431 will open on April 15, 2026. Tickets can be booked through PRS counters as well as the IRCTC website. While general class and luggage van tickets will be available through the UTS system at standard fares, reserved categories will be priced under special fare rules.

Travelers are encouraged to verify updated halt timings and schedules through official railway enquiry platforms or the NTES app before departure to avoid any inconvenience.
