Pune: Kayani Bakery in the Pune Camp area, is amongst the top dessert places in a global survey of 150 most legendary dessert places of the world.
As per information from the survey done by a global online food guide TasteAtlas, Kayani Bakery, which is operational since 1955, has gained 18th rank out of 150 top dessert places, with its popular dish being Mawa Cake.
Also, a few eateries and dessert spots from Kolkata, Hyderabad & Mumbai made it to the 150 list.
At number 25 is Kolkata’s best-known eatery, K C Das, which has been selling its famous Rasagullas since 1866.
Next, on the list at number 26 is Flurys, a Kolkata tea room that has been running since 1927. It’s rum balls at this well-known tea room in Kolkata.
At number 29 is Hyderabad’s Karachi Bakery which is famous for its Fruit Biscuits. If someone is looking to enjoy ‘Sandesh’ in Kolkata, they must check out B&R Mullick which has won number 37 rank on the list.
If someone wants to enjoy delicious Ice Cream sandwiches, they must look no further than K. Rustom & Co, which is famous for Ice Cream sandwiches in Mumbai & has been running since 1953.
