Pune Mumbai Expressway Sees Huge Rush Ahead of Ganeshutsav : Police Clear traffic
Massive traffic was seen on 16th September at Khalapur Toll Plaza on Mumbai Pune Expressway today morning.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Yogesh Bhosale, Assistant Police Inspector, Highway Safety Police, said “Huge traffic was seen in the morning time of 16th September. Long lines were there at Khalapur Toll Naka for about 1 km. This must have happened ahead of Ganesh festival where people travel to their native places, & due to weekend. Now, the traffic flow has somewhat become normal.”
As per information, lot of trucks, trailers, cars etc have crowded the Mumbai Pune expressway as they are commuting to their desired destinations due to weekend, Ganesh festival.
Travellers are requested to follow traffic rules and drive carefully.
