Pune: Kiwale and Ravet Areas Experience 9-Hour Power Cuts

Parts of Kiwale and Ravet faced a disheartening situation as a cable fault led to a prolonged power outage lasting for nine hours. Since 5 am, residents in these areas, including Dehuroad, have been coping with the absence of electricity, causing significant inconvenience and disrupting their daily routines.
Netizens took to various social media platforms sharing their plights asking about the resumption of power supply.
Addressing the complaints, Nishikant Raut, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of MSEDCL, informed Pune Pulse that the underground high-tension cable near Adarsh Nagar had suffered damage. The electricity staff has been diligently working to restore the power supply since the onset of the outage. The restoration process was expected to be completed by 3 PM.
