On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, various spiritual programs were organized at Geeta Ashram in Khadki. The festivities commenced with the padapooja of Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa in the morning. Guruji gave darshan to the large number of devotees who had come to take his blessings on the occasion.A special prasadam called “Shivapriya” was also distributed to the devotees.

The ashram was adorned with attractive decorations of various types of flower garlands for Mahashivaratri. In the evening, Shri Amit Kasture, a prominent disciple of Guruji and the chief trustee of Geeta Ashram gave spiritual discourse. He enlightened the audience on the spiritual and symbolic importance of Mahashivaratri through his discourse. Speciality of Lord Shiva and his enormous blessings to humanity was also highlighted. The program concluded with a session of devotional songs, where devotees sang special bhajans dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Geeta Ashram,Pune also launched a new devotional song/bhajan called ‘Om Shree Shiva Shadakshara Stotram’  on its YouTube channel , other social media and music platforms. Om Shree Shiva Shadakshara Stotram is a prayer to Lord Shiva incorporating the rhythmic structure of Om-Na-Ma-Shi-Va-Ya, the six-lettered mantra of Lord Shiva.

The Mahashivaratri celebration at Geeta Ashram created a highly enthusiastic and devotional atmosphere, leaving a profound impact on the attendees. The event witnessed a large number of devotees who participated and received prasad after the Bhajan.
