Pune : Metro services disrupted due to cable fault
On Wednesday, Metro services were disrupted for over 40 minutes on the Khadki Shivaji Nagar section of Pimpri Chinchwad to Civil Court, after an overhead power cable developed a technical fault.
The services were disrupted on the Khadki to Shivaji Nagar route at 2.40 PM on the down line. The Maha Metro officials informed that the train operations were shifted to the Shivaji Nagar and Khadki station (up line) till the fault was repaired.
None of the trips were cancelled, however the services were delayed.
The Metro officials informed that an enquiry in the incident would be conducted.
