Pune: Mukul Kala Mahotsav to be held on November 14 for Young Artists
Pune: Kalavardhini Charitable Trust and Arundhati Patwardhan are organizing the ‘Mukul Kala Mahotsav’ for young artists. This art festival will be held on November 14 at 6 p.m. at the Bal Shikshan Mandir Auditorium, Mayur Colony (Kothrud). Senior Dance Guru Dr. Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar and senior harmonium artist, Director of Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Performing Arts, Sharangdhar Sathe, will be present as chief guests.
The festival will showcase performances by Krishna Salunke’s disciples on Pakhawaj, classical vocal by Aarushi Joshi, daughter and disciple of renowned tabla player Ajinkya Joshi and vocalist Gayatri Joshi, Kathak dance by Riya Gokhale, daughter and disciple of Kathak dancer Payal Gokhale, Sattriya dance by disciples of Dr. Devika Borthakur, and Bharatanatyam by disciples of Mrs. Anuja Bathe. This festival is free and open to all.
