Pune Mumbai Expressway : Traffic restrictions announced amid visit of President Draupadi Murmu to Lonavala

Pune: Considering VVIP movement during President Draupadi Murmu visiting Lonavala to inaugurate international conference at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Kendra, Lonavla police issued traffic guidelines for Wednesday.

Police told considering V VIP movement in the city there will be restrictions of vehicular movement on 29 November between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

As per traffic advisory issued by the Lonavala police, vehicles coming from Pune  will be diverted to Mumbai via expressway.There will be no entry to vehicles in Lonavala city. Also vehicles coming from Pune via old highway to be diverted via Kusgaon toll plaza towards Mumbai.

Police also informed that vehicles coming from Mumbai through expressway are not allowed to take exit from Khandala exit. Instead they can take exit from Lonavla exit and head towards Pune.

Local residents requested not to bring their vehicles during the scheduled time to avoid traffic mess in the city. In addition to that, drone, paragliding , and air balloon movement in the air will be completely banned during the situlated timing provided by the administration.

Police urged people to adhere to the traffic related guidelines issued by them on Wednesday.
