On the night of 23rd July, a landslide happened near the Adoshi tunnel, closing all three lanes and leaving only one free for vehicles to pass. However, at 3 am, another landslide occurred near Lonavala, forcing traffic to be delayed once more. Currently, the highway will be closed to heavy vehicles between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Heavy vehicles have been halted at Urse Toll Naka (Kiwale), and only cars are permitted to proceed.

At the moment, two lanes have been opened. At the moment, only four-wheelers are permitted. Heavy vehicles have been halted prior to Lonavala. Despite the fact that traffic is moving, the quantity of automobiles is enormous. As a result, there is a traffic bottleneck in Lonavala Ghat.
