Pune : New E-Service Center Simplifies Court Procedures in Nehru Nagar, Pimpri Chinchwad

The Nehru Nagar Court located in Pimpri Chinchwad is planning to launch an e-service centre at its civil and criminal court to simplify the complexities of court proceedings. This court has 11 judges who handle various cases within its jurisdiction. However, it often faces challenges in managing the workload and providing information to litigants.

Pimpri Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association, expressed optimism about the new centre, stating, “The e-service centre will offer a range of facilities and information, including details about the District Legal Services Authority and Lok Adalat. This resource will prove invaluable to litigants, citizens, and legal practitioners alike.”

Previously, lack of access to information made legal proceedings daunting for common persons. However, the new e-service centre aims to change this by providing easy access to relevant information, simplifying the judicial process for everyone involved. Litigants and citizens will now have access to the current status of their cases, helping to save time and manage courtroom crowding more efficiently.

Pimpri Chinchwad is also set to receive two additional courts, as per the demand of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association. With the establishment of two additional district and session courts and two senior civil judges expected within the next two to three months, the total number of judges is anticipated to reach 13.
