Pune : The election voting process for Chinchwad constituency ended at 6 PM recorded 50.47 % on the voting day observed on February 26, 2023.

Chinchwad Constituency :

A total of 510 polling booths will be set up for the 5,68,954 voters registered in the constituency. Of these, 3,02,946 are female voters, 2,65,972 are male voters, and 34 belong to other categories. With an average of 1,116 voters expected to cast their votes at each polling booth, the administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth and hassle-free polling experience for all voters. Citizens voted at various polling stations set up in the constituency. Pimple Saudagar had 38 polling booths, Kaspate Wasti had 13 polling booths, Wakad had 30 polling booths, and Rahatani had 21 polling booths.

Voting process started at 7 AM and till 9 AM 3.25 percent voting was recorded, while till 11 AM 10.45 percent was registered. By 5 PM the voting percentage increased to 41.06 percent and ended at a total of 50.47 percent at 6 PM in Chinchwad constituency.

The control room was monitored from the Shankar Anna Gavade Kamgar Bhavan through web casting. A total of 3707 police personnel and 725 officials were deployed at the polling stations for smooth functioning of voting process.
