Pune News: Flying squad team seizes  ₹ 28 lakhs during inspection in Kasba Constituency

Pune: In preparation for the upcoming election in Kasba Peth Assembly Constituency, the administration has increased its efforts to maintain law and order. As part of this effort, “Bharari pathak” Flying Squad teams have been deployed to conduct Naka bandis (combing operation) and inspections on vehicles in the area.

According to recent reports, the Flying squad teams have checked 13,542 vehicles in the constituency, and during these inspections, a total of ₹28,18,500 rupees have been seized in five different cases. The seized amount has been deposited in the government treasury. These efforts by the administration are aimed at preventing any unlawful activities or attempts from influencing the election process. The increased police deployment in the area is also expected to help maintain peace and order during the election period.

With the election program announced, the administration must take all necessary measures to ensure a fair and peaceful election.
