Pune: In a horrific incident in Pashan, a man, infuriated by her spouse’s refusal to serve chicken, directed his rage towards her young daughter and hit her with a brick on the head. The girl sustained severe injuries. The family of the victim filed a complaint at the Chatushrungi police station, leading to the registration of an FIR against the person.
Vikas Nagnath Rathod, a resident of Wakeshwar Road, has been identified as the accused. Over the past few days, he and his wife have engaged in a heated argument. Upon his arrival at home on Monday, Vikas Rathod asked his wife to serve him a meal. He specifically wanted chicken in his meal. Due to the non-availability of chicken in the house, a normal meal was served to him. As a result, a conflict erupted over this matter, leading Vikas to attack his daughter by attacking her head with a brick.
As per the information provided, a complaint was filed by his family, and an FIR was registered against Vikas. Police are currently conducting further investigation, and the accused has not been apprehended.
