Pune News : Parking signages to be installed on both sides of Karve road within eight days

Pune: Vijaykumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and Kunal Khemnar, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Pune Municipal Commissioner (PMC) have assured Pune Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil in a meeting that the process of installing parking boards on Karve Road will be completed in the next eight days.Â
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Arjun Botre, Traffic inspector (planning) said, “As many as 8 parking zones on Karve road are being restored. However, the installation of the parking boards wasn’t done. Within the next 8 days, parking boards will be put up to ensure smoother traffic flow.”
During the meeting, Patil was felicitated by the Karve Rasta Traders Association and the Pune Traders Federation of Trade Associations for solving the parking problem of traders at Karve Road.
Notable personalities such as Hastimal Changedia, Founder of Karve Rasta Traders Establishment, Vice President Bakshar Singh Talwar, Ajit Sangle, Secretary Sumtilal Lodha, Sanjeev Gujar, Treasurer Rajesh Mehta, Shailesh Sant, Harish Patel, Tejas Mahadik, Nandu Bhetwara, Kshama Wagh, Pune Traders Federation of Trade Association President Fatechand Ranka, Omprakash Ranka, Ajit Dhavande etc were present.
