Pimpri, July 25, 2023 – The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Monday conducted a comprehensive review meeting to address the dengue cases in the region.
The meeting, led by PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh and health and medical department officials, focused on strengthening preventive measures and implementing prompt strategies to curb the spread of the disease.
Singh said, “The zonal officials should intensify their surveillance of the potential mosquito breeding sites including industrial, construction establishments, offices, home institutions, houses and commercial shops by increasing the required manpower in the teams. The number of positive dengue cases is still under control in the civic limits but next two months we shall remain vigilant to curb any further spread.”
