In a successful instance of public intervention, the road adjacent to Nancy Tower, near Kedari Petrol Pump in Wanowrie, Pune, has finally undergone repairs.

The road had been severely affected by continuous rains and shoddy road resurfacing, leading to its deteriorating condition. Despite repeated reminders to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), no action was taken until the issue was taken up by Sahil Kedari, the vice president of OBC Cell, Maharashtra Congress.

Residents of the area had been grappling with the worsening condition of the road, making it difficult to navigate, especially during the rainy season. After approaching Sahil Kedari, who championed their cause, the issue was brought to the attention of the authorities, prompting the much-needed repairs.

Kedari explained that the PMC had previously undertaken the laying of stormwater lines during the summer season but failed to resurface the road adequately, leading to the formation of potholes. The situation escalated further with the onset of monsoons, prompting residents to seek assistance.
