Pune News : Russian Couple Attacked At Midnight By Three People In Koregaon Park

Pune: Three unidentified people attacked a Russian couple, living in Koregaon Park at around 3 am on July 1.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Nilima Pawar, Police Inspector, Koregaon Park Police Station gave more information, “The Russian couple, identified as Alexander and Daria, were taking their dog for a stroll on North Main Road Lane 3 of Koregaon Park. Assuming that there would be no traffic/commuters at this time, they were walking on the road. Three people who were riding a bike blew their horns continuously. However, the couple did not realize that they were coming. A heated argument broke out between them and all the accused. They hit Alexander with a sharp object and also pushed Daria away as well”.
As per information from Nilima Pawar, Alexander has got four stitches on his head. Under sections 324, 34 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), a case has been registered against all the accused. The police have managed to catch 2 accused while the other is still on the run. Further investigation is going on in the case.
