Pune: A complaint has been filed against Sambhaji Darekar, a resident of Talegaon Dabhade, for disseminating videos on social media in which he is purportedly using offensive language towards Islam and making threats against Muslims. The complaint was lodged by social activist Allauddin Shaikh.

As per the information provided, Shaikh lodged a complaint against Darekar, alleging that he was trying to provoke communal strife and undermine national unity. In the complaint, Shaikh stated, “Darekar’s remarks are a deliberate effort to ignite communal conflict and undermine the sense of unity in our nation.”

The written complaint has been received and confirmed by Additional Commissioner of Police Ramnath Pokale. He further stated that it has been forwarded to the Talegaon Dabhade Police Station, where Darekar currently resides.

Zubair Memon, the National Spokesperson & Convener of the National Conference for Minority, has brought attention to several videos by Darekar that specifically target the Muslim community.

Memon has expressed his intention to communicate with the relevant authorities and has hinted at the possibility of organizing protests if necessary actions are not taken. Additionally, Memon has pointed out the absence of sections related to promoting hatred between religious groups.
