Pune, April 28, 2026:
The Pune Municipal Corporation has announced that property tax bills for the financial year 2026–27 have been generated and are being distributed through the postal department.

To encourage timely payment, the civic body has introduced a rebate of 5% to 10% on general property tax. The discount will be applicable until May 31, 2026, and will be available only to those citizens who pay their full property tax within the stipulated deadline.

For the convenience of citizens, property tax payments can also be made at Bank of Maharashtra, ICICI Bank, and Cosmos Bank. Additionally, all Civic Facilitation Centres (CFCs) of PMC will remain open from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

To avoid long queues at facilitation centres, citizens have been encouraged to use the online payment system via the official PMC property tax portal. Property owners who have not yet received their tax bills by post can download a copy by entering their property number under the “Tax Bill” section on the website.

The civic administration has appealed to all property owners to clear their dues before May 31, 2026, and contribute actively to the city’s development.

The announcement was issued by Deputy Commissioner and Head of Tax Assessment and Collection, Ravi Pawar.
