PUNE: Approximately 750 cusecs of water will be released from Neeradevghar dam into the Mula river basin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday informed Basavraj Munnoli, the head of Dams, Estate, and Advocacy. He also said that the discharge volume might fluctuate depending on the rainfall’s intensity.

The Neeradevghar Dam, which provides water to rural areas in Pune, Satara, and Solapur districts, has experienced a rise in water levels due to ongoing rainfall in the region.

According to recent data, the dam currently holds 84.30% of its water capacity. It is strongly advised that individuals should refrain from entering the river basin. If any objects or animals are spotted in the river basin, they should be promptly removed.
Those on the banks of the river must remain alert of the increasing water levels.
