Pune, April 27, 2026: Residents of Ward 41 Mohamadwadi Undri particularly from the neglected localities of Handewadi, Holkarwadi, and Autadewadi, have raised serious concerns over the continued lack of basic civic infrastructure despite being part of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

The protest is organised by Handewadi Societies Association.

Strategically located as a central link connecting Hadapsar, Saswad, and Katraj, the area has allegedly been consistently sidelined by authorities, leaving citizens deprived of essential services. Residents claim that even after inclusion under PMC limits, issues related to water supply, traffic congestion, and sewage management remain unresolved.
