Pune: Review Meeting On PMRDA Projects In Shirur Constituency Focuses On Comprehensive Mobility Plan Implementation

A meeting was held to review the ongoing projects under the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority in Shirur Lok Sabha constituency. Instructions were given to take immediate measures to complete pending projects, particularly to address the issue of traffic congestion. A request was made to expedite the implementation of the “Comprehensive Mobility Plan.”

PMRDA Commissioner Yogesh Mhase, Member of Parliament Dr Anol Kolhe and other officials were present at the meeting. Discussions also covered various issues, such as:

  • – Allocating land for homeless families from the Kendur MIDC area for housing.
  • – Granting ownership rights to residents of Manjari Budruk’s Manjrai Nagar slum.
  • – Curbing pollution caused by Maharashtra Enviro Power Company.
  • – Resettling displaced families from the Dimbhe dam project.
  • – Providing shelter for homeless Katkari families in Ambegaon taluka.
  • – Creating higher education facilities in the PESA region of Ahupe valley.
  • – Establishing a memorial for revolutionary Honaji Bhagoji Kengle in Jambhori, Ambegaon.

In another meeting with Pune District Collector Dr. Suhas Divase various issues were discussed.
