Pune, January 13, 2025: Club of Maharashtra suffered a second loss on the trot as they went down by 4 wickets to Metro Club in a league match of the 5th edition of “Doshi Engineers Trophy” Inter club Senior Cricket Tournament organized by the Path-Way Foundation and played at Nehru Stadium ground.
Batting first Club of Maharashtra were dismissed for 155 runs in just 33.3 overs by Metro Cricket Club in a 50 over match
Chasing the score Metro Club made 156 runs for loss of. 6 wickets thanks to a 7th wicket partnership between Suhel Shrikhande(not out 60) and Verun Chaudhari(not out 20) of 72runs in 86 balls to secure a 4 wicket win
