Pune : Stop dumping garbage on railway track between Ghorpadi and Saswad Railway Station, urge authorities

It is continuously observed that a large quantity of household garbage is being thrown on Railway Track between Ghorpadi to Saswad Railway Station areas near Pune Railway station of Pune Division. 

Main areas from where large amount of garbage are being thrown on railway track are –

1. Mohammed wadi near Railway gate No. 7

2. Sasane Nagar

3. Ramtekdi

4. Sasane Nagar Fortune Plaza and Vardhaman Township Society

5. Sayyad Nagar

The garbage thrown on track attracts cattle and becomes prone to cattle run over which may cause accidents such as derailment.

These garbage also become potential danger for fire hazard. The fire near the track is very dangerous for passing trains, oil tankers, coal load and passenger carrying trains.

General public is advised to stop throwing garbage near Railway Track. After this Notice all such Garbage locations & nearby residents will be prosecuted under relevant provision of Railway Act.

Residents of the above areas are requested not to throw household items on Railway tracks otherwise action will be taken against you.
