Pune Traffic Police announces changes in traffic due to Ganesh Jayanti; Check details
Pune : Provisional orders issued regarding vehicular traffic changes in Kondhwa
The Pune Traffic Police have announced changes in traffic for 13th February on the occasion of Ganesh Jayanti.
As per further information from Pune Traffic Police, on Tuesday, 13/2/2024, on the occasion of Ganesh Jayanti, a large number of devotees are likely to gather at Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Mandir for Ganapati darshan. Due to this, the traffic on Shivaji Road, Lakshmi Road and other roads in the said area will increase and there is a possibility of traffic congestion on the said roads due to which the traffic flow will slow down. Therefore, it is necessary to change the traffic in the area in order to keep the traffic safe and smooth.
Therefore, except for essential service vehicles (eg Fire Brigade, Ambulance etc), from 7.00 am on 13/2/2024, all types of traffic routes will change as follows till the end of rush hours:
1) Motorists going from Puram Chowk to Shivaji Nagar via Bajirao Road should go from Tilak Road, from Puram Chowk to Alka Talkies Chowk and to the desired destination via FC Road.
2) Motorists going to Swargate from Shivaji Road should go to the desired destination via S.G. Barve Chowk, Jungli Maharaj Road, Khandoji Baba Chowk, Tilak Chowk, Tilak Road.
3) Motorists going from S.G. Barve Chowk to PMC Bhavan should go to the desired destination via S.G. Barve Chowk, Jungli Maharaj Road, turn left at Jhansi Rani Chowk.
4) The traffic coming from Appa Balwant Chowk towards Budhwar Chowk will be stopped and it will be allowed straight through Bajirao Road.
