Pune Traffic Police Issues Notice To IAS Officer Pooja Khedkar Over Violations

The Chatushrungi Traffic Division of Pune Traffic Police has issued a notice to probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, currently posted at the Washim District Collector’s office, following a controversy involving her occupancy of the senior collector Ajay More’s ante chamber. She was earlier posted at Pune district collector office. 

According to the notice, Khedkar’s Audi car, bearing registration number MH 12 AR 7000, displays government insignia “Shashan” on both sides, front and back, and is equipped with an unauthorized amber light. These actions are stated to be violations of the Motor Vehicles Act, Section 177. Additionally, it was noted that Khedkar had previously violated MV Act rules, resulting in unpaid fines.

Senior Police Inspector Shafil Pathan of the Chatushrungi Traffic Division has requested Khedkar to visit the division with her documents to address and clear the legal matters outlined in the notice.
