Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Pune leader Vasant More has submitted his resignation from the party today (12th March).

As per further information from the resignation letter of Vasant More accessed by Pune Pulse,

“I have been trying my best to fulfill the responsibilities and mandates given to me by the party since its inception (indeed even earlier) as a member of the party and in other positions. While working continuously for the last 18 years for the growth of the party organization, I remained working in Pune city and Maharashtra as a general secretary.”

The resignation letter further reads “But in the recent past, the dirty politics within the party against me and raising doubts on my loyalty towards the party by the senior officials of the party in Pune city are very painful for me. I am giving support and activities to the local office bearers and empowering them so that the people representatives of the party can be elected in the future. The ‘technique’ of those colleagues is being adopted by the senior officials of the city to ‘conflict’ them. So today I am resigning from all posts including primary membership of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. It is a humble request that you please accept it.”

Vasant More is known for his upfront & vocal approach towards several issues in Pune city, a recent one being about the Katraj bridge work –
