Pune : Water Ridge residents in Undri bring complete makeover to a shabby spot

The residents of Water Ridge society in Undri comprising 145 flats took were tired of the shabby spot outside the society’s premises. 

Jasmine Jogi, chairman, Water Ridge society in Undri told Pune Pulse that the area beautified outside the society was lying neglected and often led to passerby dump all sorts of waste. Since the society was carrying out some work work within its premises, the management decided to utilize the material outside too and beautify the area. She said, “We are hoping that now people don’t dare to dump waste. There is a lot that the people have done to beautify this spot.” 

Jigar Jariwala, a member of the society said this was done through the society funds. The initiative is taken to beautify the area and also to ensure that people keep it clean and beautiful. 

Another member of the society Umesh Bali stated that the committee has been very much supportive to the idea. We all want to live in a space which is beautiful and clean. We should start it from our home, society. This is what we did.
