Pune: Pune and its surrounding areas are experiencing a sharp rise in temperatures, marking an early retreat of winter. On Monday (February 17)Koregaon Park recorded the highest temperature at 38°C, making it the hottest spot in the city. The overall maximum temperature in Pune stood at 36°C, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Steady Rise In Daytime Heat, Cool Early Mornings 

While daytime heat has intensified, early mornings remain relatively cool. On Monday, Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 12.9°C, highlighting a stark difference between morning and afternoon temperatures. The IMD has predicted that temperatures are likely to remain stable over the next two days.
